I love what you've done here, but why on earth have you included nationalist songs (that encourage slavish obedience to the State, not to God) with works of genuine praise to God Almighty?
Despite the questionable inclusion of statist paeans, you have done something terrific and worthwhile.

Thanks for the kind words. You make a very good point about national anthems but they're in virtually all hymn books, and are actually hymns by definition, so we've included them.

Thanks also for affirming what we read in Rom 13, Titus 3 and 1 Peter 2:13 (John 19:11). Civil authority that permits us to live quiet peacable lives (cp Neh 4:17) is God pleasing. And so is this website. Thanx a bunch!
